Emmanuelle Alt is a French writer who has published under the pen name Emmanuelle de Perou. She is best known for her work as an erotic novelist, but has also written about other topics, including feminism and lesbianism. She was one of the first women to be prosecuted under France's anti-obscenity laws for explicitly erotic works, which were considered obscene at the time (Alt was acquitted). Alt has been called the "French Lolita" because of her Lolita-like sexual relationship with her mother.
